Necro reply but man that title controdicts gameplay after playing it here & there, sure it can dominate lighter vessels if challenged unless they’re eventually soviet corvettes or other heavier later cold war corvettes like say a Peacock class corvette or on the odd occasion a I-Go class Hydrofoil or Freccia class Motoconvertibili.
Yet shallow water is hilarious if you get Fiji, aka the Graveyard of Hydrofoils as the only thing it dominates is the the sandbar it spawns on 90% of the time or sails into within three seconds of spawning the other 10% of the time.
Without any work done to make gameplay of hydrofoils any better, they’ll remain for the most part hampered by map design & the inability to raise the struts in certain conditions.
Still one positive about the Project 11451 is that it makes a great capper at most BR’s, one drawback of it’s the lack of its strela missiles which you can see on the model (yet that’s most soviet corvettes & that one german corvette, which is funny when the predecessing minesweeper gets them).
