HISTORY
The Norwegian company Kongsberg Defense & Aerospace is one of three companies under the Kongsberg group and is a continuation of Kongsberg Våpenfabrikk. Kongsberg makes products for both defense and aerospace, and has over a number of years developed a number of very successful products such as the Naval Strike Missiles, Penguin ASW to mention a few and the market leading protector series, featuring multiple families of remote controlled weapon stations and turrets , which countries all over the world have already started integrating on their vehicles and vessels even.

As a result of constant development and new ideas and to get new customers, they regularly have demonstrations where they show potential. This wagon is one of many different! This is an Mowag Eagle, a 4x4 wheeled armored vehicle which is Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace’s own vehicle wgich they are driving around demonstrating and exhibits around the country, sometimes abroad. This vehicle has been seen in this configuration before, but then only without the radar and different paint on the weapon station. This specific variant got an 40x53mm Heckler & Koch grenade launcher integrated in an Kongsberg RS4 Weapon station, combined with an Hensoldt Radar System, and was first seen together with the Pandur RS6 on a live fire demonstration held by Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace in Slovenia a couple years ago.

The Mowag Eagle is a series of wheeled armoured vehicles which comes in many shapes and forms, such as 4x4 and 6x6 with different engines and configurations and which are in use all over the world. It was designed by the Swiss company Mowag from around 1995-2000.

IN GAME
This would be an unique vehicle, with a different, potentially new kind of playstyle as this both has airburst and armour penetrating ammunition/HEAT that can penetrate over 65mm of RHA available, it can shoot down low flying aircraft and drones/scout drones which are the ones we have in-game currently, and it could be a way to counter these, as its quite hard to shoot them down with any of the machinery and weapons we have in-game today. It would serve well in the higher ranks of a Norwegian subtree or combined Norwegian/Danish tech tree.
