Hello, i wanted to try out the cdk and when installing i got a rename error. i searched a bit for the cause of that error but found no way to fix it. I restarted the install and got the error in the screenshot. Can anybody help me?

Hey, i just got the same issue with the Steam version.
i installed the CDK on the Dev Server (Dev client) and it worked.
May you can try on the Non-Steam Version or as well on the WarThunderDev client. ^^

It’s running into the Windows path character limit, because of the Steam install location being a long path already, combined with the ridiculously long file name shown in the error message. Grab the non-Steam version, as @xDarkNeko_1 suggested, and choose an install location closer to the root of the drive (because it will default to another very deeply nested location)

That’s why I always set steam libraries at the base of drives.
