Neither does Mig-23ML.
PDV is currently more powerful than MTI, and PDV is currently as powerful as PD HDN in retaining lock, which retaining lock is what matters.
Probably shouldn’t be that way, but it’s currently that way.

23ML can dogfight slightly better and that’s it.
Otherwise R-24R and Skyflash are identical. And R-60M and AIM-9G are essentially identical.
Not sure why you’re agreeing with this topic now… 23ML and FG1 are perfectly fine at 11.3.
IOG doesn’t mean anything. MTI is inferior to PDV by far, and no it’s not overperforming.
AJ-37 at 10.3 currently has all-aspect PD.

I already fight the MIG-23ML at 10.3 its placement at 11.0 would have negligible effect on my experience while I grind the second France aviation line to get to the Mirage 4000.
What validation does anyone’s opinion have anywhere?
As for lowering the USSR MiG-23MLA premium pack vehicle - I don’t think it will make it sell any more or better than it already is. I think it’s a very “good buy” even where it is now, and anyone that is on the edge probably wouldn’t jump to buy it just because its BR got reduced by 0.3.
It has validation when they actually know what they’re talking about.
This used to be the case but with there being multiple 12.0 lines now I think people would enjoy not fighting 12.3 vehicles while also having the chance to curb stomp 10.0s.

excuse me but the plane you played in ARB which use PDV as main radar mode is only F4J, and only played for 16 times, 12 dead and 8kills, i dont really think you can tell the differece between the PDV and PD HDN when they are guiding missiles :D

R-24R is better sub 8km. Especially if used in a dogfight

R-24R and Skyflash are extremely similar on paper, and in practice for me.
i have a question, do you use df mode in Mig23 or just normal MTI?

depends on the range used at. Skyflash struggles a lot more when much closer to the target.
Sub 8 ish km, R-24R is better. 10 ish km Id guess about the same. 15ish km (not that id ever fire at that range in the Skyflash because its buggy as hell) skyflash is in theory better.
