with the new addition of the su30sm, that gets 6 kh38s on a decent chassis it will dominate ground rb, ussr has an insanely good cas lineup if not the best lineup n the whole game, also you can easily get into a su34, spam your 6 kh38s and get 5 to 6 kills, j out and spawn the su30sm with the kh38s, theres also the ka-52 thats also one of the best helis in the game, id say moving the SU34,the new additions like the F/A18C,F-15E/I,F-16,RAFALE,EUROFIGHTER TYPHOON etc to 13.0 will be a good idea, because none of the nations have spaas to kill them, i.e isreal having a chaprral as their best option, OTOMATIC for the italians and the type81c for the japanese, the only spaa that can deal with these jets is the panstir thats only in the ussr tree, playing top tier ground is very painful because of these 12.7 jets, helis n such, so please
They should be 14.0 not 13.0. Making the max br in ground 14.0 would basically just immediately fix the cas problem.
Brimstone may be intentionally nerfed into being pretty mid but its still stupid powerful. anything stronger like the KH38 shouldn’t be seen by anyone playing below top top tier
It won’t change anything…
Max Air BR is 14.0
Max Ground BR is 12.0
Placing anything above 12.0 means absolutely nothing.
Shouldn’t be seen by anyone at top tier either. A 12.0 tank shouldn’t be able to get a 2br uptier to see a 14.0 plane.
You can’t bring anything over one br above the max br, you can’t bring planes over 8.0 into navel.
Naval?
Either way, the KH-38 is a Thermal ASM. If we got modern ships it would be usable. Either way, the answer is spawn an SPAA.
ideally if someone wants to use a pantsir and sukhoi hk38 lineup they can enjoy facing the end of line stuff while normal top tier chills with 80s aircraft and some mavericks at most
No I mean if the max br for planes in ground was 14.0 you wouldn’t be able to bring 13.3 and up. You just wouldn’t be able to bring the obnoxiously op stuff.
Also the current aa’s are useless against a cas player who can rub three brain cells together so spawning aa’s isn’t the answer.
I might make an actual suggestion on this later, but the further it goes, the more I think an artificial limit on CAS armament in GRB is the only way to solve this.
If all F&F weapons with over 8km target lock range were disallowed (to keep the AGM-65B, first Kh-29, Spikes etc), top tier CAS would be limited to GNSS and laser-guided munitions. I think this would be fair, because laser-guided missiles, even if they are fast and long range, require significantly more skill, time investment and risk exposure to use, allowing countermeasures and interception; and GNSS weapons can be launched en masse, but can be avoided by moving. You could still use older F&F missiles, but you’d have to get close, and that increases the risk.
If this were done, then the Pantsir should be removed and replaced with a Tor version, to keep parity with other SPAA - but then everyone would be on roughly equal footing in terms of CAS armament, with RU aircraft getting generally more missiles but having worse optics and needing to guide them while flying toward the target, and NATO getting less missiles but more bombs and way better TGPs.
I can’t see any other way to ever balance this as long range F&F weapons become ever more prevalent, Pantsir remains the only SPAA capable of area defense, and GRB maps continue to be generally small.
Max Ground BR is 12.0
Max BR in GRB is 12.7, not 12.0. Before the October 2024 battle rating changes, 11.3 lineups (e.g. M1A1, Challenger 2, T-80U) entirely avoided the best CAS aircraft at the time (e.g. F-16C, Mirage 2000-5F).
Placing anything above 12.0 means absolutely nothing.
Placing anything above 12.0 means it will never face an 11.0 lineup. Likewise, increasing aircraft BR to 13.3 would mean it can not face 12.0 lineups with just SPAA.
trve… wis they do that but its gaijin so prolly not
I agree it should be decompressed to 14.0 but people would still not stop complaining cuz skill issue. Hell, even if they add the most cracked AA ever its still going to happen.
It’s impossible to please everyone, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try to please anyone.
