Based on the fact that players get better as they play more.

Turan has the reverse speed and better armor, so M24 ain’t much special.

I’ma assume you mean the mantlet is trolly and tends to absorb shells with no real explanation. That’s not unique to the M24, most tanks have poorly modelled mantlets. The area above the cannon is super easy to 1-shot through, so you can kill an M24 only seeing its roof.

Well you couldnt have been more wrong, germany and the USA are actually nations that i only played it somewhat recently, specially germany where im grinding it currently. The only mayor that i have been playing from long is the USSR

Only thing better about its armor is the turret otherwise is worse as you can just .50cal it to death quite far away, also there isnt much difference on the traverse.
Sure it is better but not almost 2 full br better.

and because the amx13 m24 is also 3.7 and the amx13 fl11 and m24 have similar reloads and shoot the same rounds we can determine that it is exclusively the turret of the amx13fl11 that makes it a higher BR

Where THE HELL did I write you can front pen Puma with .50 cal??? Are you trolling or what?

I guess by your logic you always meet the enemy head on and side shots never happen. Meanwhile I oftentimes side-shoot Pumas with .50 cal and only then open up with main cannon, because .50 cal gets on target even faster, is accurate at any speed and can be fired over obstacles. Sometimes Puma tries to drive around me. Sometimes I simply miss my cannon shot.
.50 cal is there “just in case”.
Puma has 50mm pew-pew gun and that’s it. And even if he hits my hull, it’s not over. If he takes our my barrel but he’s not front towards me, I can stop him with my .50 cal. Such is life.

Anyway, you should think twice before saying stuff like this, because you sound really sad.

Lets see:

  1. way worse mobility, v. bad reverse, no .50 cal elevation for proper spaa work.
  2. no gun depression, no .50 cal, bad reverse, no stab, worse mobility, no smoke.
  3. much worse mobility, no stab, mediocre/bad gun handling, no .50 cal. Does it have useful smoke at least?
  4. No reverse, waaay worse gun, no stab, no
    .50 MG. Reverse plays a huge role in success of a light tank. Cromwell can’t reverse out of his own bed.

Thats is normal because M24 is by far better vehicles than Puma. Why both have the same BR is a mistery but probably is Gaijin and his stupid crusade for destroy the movility of Germany in rank 3 and 4.
Another mistery is why Germany IS THE ONLY NATION without acces to fast scouting vehicles in rank 3.

This would be the theoretically perfect scenario balance-wise, but practically it can’t work.

Still M24 is way better than basically everything else you’ll find at 3.7 and would be perfectly fine at 4.3 or even 4.7, I mean, give it APCR so people don’t cry when they have to shoot Panther in the turret from 200m away and it would work fine at 5.0 too, but 4.7 seems like a perfect compromise. At 3.7 it can just frontally lolpen almost everyrhing.

I revently met Churchill VII, who was moving, I wasn’t going full speed, so I stopped first and hit his barrel from 90m away, then just casually finished him off. With stabiliser and excellent turret rotation the shot did not even feel difficult, just point and click, poor guy had no chance.

I mean, theoretically every tank deserves a different spot in BR, as no 2 vehicles are equal.
But also it depends on the map and lineup.
In other words - we can’t have perfect balance.
But we might have no M24 at 3.7 or Msta at 7.3 and no PzH 2000 at 7.7

anyways… the m24 is long due an uptier, its WAY too undertiered, literally the best ww2 light tank

way better than other lights at the same br (and even higher!)
