Today I was on P51C10 (an already undertiered aircraft performance wise) all happy with my 10 kill death ratio when an i185 literally stalling out managed to snipe me off from 1km away with a single shvak bullet contacting my wing while I was flying away quite fast and at medium-high altitude.
The I185 is an aircraft with insane flight performance, insane ammo count, insane cannons and insane ballistics. Don’t these kind of aircraft count as “super props”? I185 is undertiered. We’re having literal junk with worse guns and worse performance at a higher BR because it has the same or close to-count armament with subpar ballistics.
Most soviet props are, actually, extremely undertiered. Part because popular nation part certain events… And dealing with their physics defying flight models and absolute BS cannons is rage inducing to the point of saying “certain thing happened in 2022 that made certain premium vehicle suddenly outsell the rest of the premiums, thus for certain game company thinking it would be a good idea to enlighten the grind for said nation where certain premium vehicle comes from”.
The M 71 version was at 5.0 not long ago - with way less effective cannons:

yep. Now it has the best 20mm in game (one hit of shvak does the same effect as one second of vulcan) and has 600 rounds. Sure it’s not an easy plane to play, but neither is the sea fury which is a shadow of the i185 and it sits at 5.7. Me having severe frag deficiency doesn’t help either. I’ve clipped wing roots that counted as “hits”. The only balance I see is nerfing ShVAK a little because regardless of how much you place the aircraft carrying it, the shvak is still going to give you negative chances of survival. It’s definitely my hardest hitting gun.

You do realize the I-185 (M-82) has 300-400 less horsepower than the I-185 (M-71), yes?
Putting one just 0.3 BRs below the other would make no sense given the sheer performance difference between these planes.
i know, but you do realize that the so8000 has less thrust weight ratio and sits at 5.7 because gun? i185s also gun. FW190s also gun. N1K2J also gun. I’m playing Gaijin logic. The performance they have is fine for the BR if we didn’t take into account the gun. I185s are extremely passive and methodical.
