Oh right, gotcha. I failed to notice the @ live on your username. I am NOT sure about premium time/anything on the Web Store for console players, I think you are correct that you can NOT use the webstore. I would strongly advise not attempting to buy anything on the webstore for anyone on console.
I am pretty sure that Premium Time still goes on sale for console players too? So, the alternative that should work would be to buy Golden Eagles, and purchase 1 year of premium time in game/Xbox store etc when it goes on sale for 50% off. The 180 day option is not available for GE’s, so the next best option would be 1 year. The 90 days option is more expensive compared to the 1 year, on a $ to day comparison. ~20 GE/Day for 1 year, vs ~27 GE/Day for a full year in 4x 90 day “batches”.
Then, if you do consider going that route, I would recommend purchasing GE’s only in the 5,000, 10,000 or 25,000 increments. The 150, 1,000 and 2,500 GE options are more expensive. Here is a breakdown of the costs per GE for all of the options. NOTE: do NOT purchase large amounts of GE’s using the “custom amount” option (this might only be on the webstore), this is because you do NOT get any discount with the custom amount method, even when purchasing 5k, 10k, 25k or more GE’s.
25,000 GE $114 = $4.56 per 1,000 GE
10,000 GE $49.50 = $4.95 per 1,000 GE
5,000 GE $24.75 = $4.95 per 1,000 GE
2,500 GE $16.50 = $6.60 per 1,000 GE
1,000 GE $6.60 = $6.60 per 1,000 GE
150 GE $0.99 = $6.60 per 1,000 GE
1 year of premium time on 50% sale = 7,450 GE’s. So, either buy 10k GE’s, or 1x 5k GE’s and 1x 2,500 GE’s. (The 5k + 2.5k will be a little bit more expensive per GE vs the 10k option, but if you don’t want to buy 10k GE’s, then that would be the second best choice. Still much better than using the Custom Amount option.)

thanks for the rundown! i can, in fact, only buy GE in the webstore (guhhh, XBOX account restrictions), and i’m not actually sure if i can buy straight up premium time in the XBOX store either?
regardless, i’ll probably do that when (and if) the next sale comes around

I am NOT sure about. Do we have any console players in the thread here that can confirm if console players can buy premium time on the webstore? I’ll see if I can find anyone in my friends list who might know for sure too. Definitely don’t want you to “test” it in case there are issues lol.
