they also where for a few months not flagged as “fictional” decorations, so even after gaijin fixed/changed the ovesizing thing, these would still show up for anyone using the “exclude fictional decorations” option.
in 2020 we got the snowflake aerobatic wing smoke, which was a very big effect that disturbed the vision for the person behind you, as well as the “sparkler”, which was a little firework decoration for tanks that sparkled.
not much harm with that one but it was still not flagged as “fictional” and therefor, everyone was forced to see it ingame too.
so, just from the top of my memory, there where actually three such decoration event thingies in the past that ended up being forced onto everyone playing.
Basically everything is fine in this thread — it’s a winter event, the holidays, and there’s no Christmas without arguments ;D If it weren’t for the rules, a political debate would have already started ;D In my country, family arguments during the holidays that quickly turn into talking about politics are a classic ;D
It’s now obvious Gaijin figured out that gooner bait works on the majority and they’ll be sure to milk it, probably with even more anime additions and fictional, nonsensical characters.

The crazy part is thst gooners are extreme addicts. But since you know, nobody wants to deal with what the research studies show, stuff like this will keep being okay.
It’s basically a national hobby — everyone in my country knows better how to run a football team, cure diseases, govern the country… you name it! And that’s how the arguments begin, hehe ;)
