All the other one are only in the USSR tech tree
Still considering that every nation has atleast 1 sherman,this is only minor copying
So keep them in those tech trees, Sweden doesnt need then nor should they have them, you can fill the Swedish ranks with more Swedish vehicles instead. Keeps things fresh and unique when trees don’t have other trees vehicles in them, gives a reason to play just that tree.

Get the strv m42 DT, t34 85 and strv 74 and then look forward to your next good lineup being 10.3/10.7 with maybe three good vehicles before that. Sweden is by far one of the worst nations for ground and air, maybe a little worse than france.
i heard that sweden has one of the best top tier, and im aiming for them. And i want teh Bkan 2c, t55, t72m1 and those light tanks.
I have seen a lot of comments how Sweden has bias because of one of the devs liking it, being one of the best nations, especially in top tier
but goddamn, this the first time i’ve seen someone say it’s not only bad but one of the worst

I mean why advocate for 1 to 1 copies when Finland can easily get unique variants or vehicles across several tiers.
I’m in favour of the modified soviet equipment sure but the unmodded stuff should only be if nothing else is available or if it’s something that was unavailable for ages (i.e SB 2M-103U becoming available again after it was added to the Chinese tree).

They have the best top tier ground lineup in terms of mbts yes. The 2a7 is better than the 122 but you get at most 2 spawns of a 2a7 compared to 6 of the 122s. Sweden also has a strong 10.3 and 10.7 lineup, as well as very strong 2.7 and 3.7 lineups. Apart from that however, there are very few if any other strong lineups with some scattered good tanks throughout the tree such as the DT, 34 85, pbv50, kungstiger, marksman leopard and maybe the t55m though it is not really competitive when compared to stuff like the tam, xm803 or of40.
As I said in my comment above this, they have the best top tier ground lineup and a very very strong 10.3/10.7 lineup, and then the strong 2.7/3.7 lineups. Apart from that, however, there are not many strong or competitive tanks in the tree. Regarding grb, swedish air is also pretty bad
No LelutooDS is a rare find hes a sweden main who only wants sweden to have swedish vehicles. Unfortunately sweden has gaps which only sub nations can fill
Thanks, yeah i knew that the swedish mid tier is badly, but they have some good thanks, and i actually started to play sweden for its top tier. but what schould i get actually? teh swedisl leo 2a4 or the strv 121?
They are functionally the same but the 121 has a much better stock grind due to not having to use HEAT at the start. One of them has double the smoke launches but it’s not a massive game changing thing.
Not so much “Only Swedish vehicles”, more so only original vehicles. I didn’t mind the Vidar and even petitioned for the Bt 42, however i don’t like the addition of the same vehicles in every tree like the Leopard 1A5NO, M24DK and whatever they did with the Finnish subtree. Trees should differ from each other as much as possible is my point, it gives every tree a different way to play the game with their own upsides and downsides.
The only situation where i find copy pastes to be a necessity/unavoidable and therefore supported in my opinion are cases in which in-service vehicles of the host nation are the same as a another tree i.e Swedish Centurions or the F86’s exported to Italy and Japan and so on, however that doesn’t mean you need to import more c&p through subtrees to go with them, with that we’re back to that trees should differ from each other as much as possible.
That’s my opinion on it.
Also im currently maining Britain, though leaning a bit to the US aswell since i got the T28.
i have a nother question. is the comet 1 and teh chiortier mk vii both the same shit?
As a Finn, I’d rather see our subtree respected with the genuinely unique additions, copy paste slop barely even fills lineup at this point, another 2s1 or isu152 just extends the grind without representing an interesting FDF addition.
What the tree needs is more patrias, more modified soviet/import tanks (ZSU Howitzer, T-72 FINMOD, K9 Moukari, etc) and less identical vehicles from other nations.

Quite convenient as I’m really close to unlocking it
5.0-5.3 is also somewhat good, Pvkv II is 4.0 but it still works there as a sniper tank
6.7 isn’t great but you’d manage if you bring the Strv 74 and the Charioteer into it’s BR since they still work there with APDS rounds
8.0 and 9.0 also are quite strong options
Can’t speak much for the air since i tend to avoid it but i can def tell you the 13.2mm guns slaps hard, so planes using them can be quite good
The B18 bombers are also quite fun as you can kinda dogfight with them + the 57mm cannon is fun if you can land the shot
A21A-3 probably one of my fav planes, 20mm cannon alongside 4x13.2mm while also being able to bring a 600kg bomb? beautiful
SAAB 60 and 105 is both frustrating but also enjoyable in ground battles, turns like a brick but it’s also somewhat tanky which allows it to sometimes take multiple missile hits
Currently using the Viggen and can’t really complain about them, they work great in hit and run strats in aviation, only issue i’d say it has is the AJ/AJS version not having CM and cannon built in and instead requires you to use a loadout slot for it, but that’s still 4-5 missiles you can use if you’re bringing it into aviation
Haven’t reached Rank 8 yet as i’m getting the Mig-21Bis but i don’t think the Gripens are considered bad by any means, same for the finnish F-18s, especially the MLU that recieves BOLs
