History
Mitsubishi Type 73 Light Truck
The Mitsubishi Type 73 was created to standardize the production of Jeep J3 cars, which were not strictly produced for the JSDF, but as off-road vehicles for various services. Mitsubishi was commissioned to develop a unified variant for the JSDF, and so in 1973 the TYPE 73 light truck was created, which was based on the previous design (Jeep J3).The Type 73 car was in production until 1997, when it was replaced by a new off-road vehicle of the same name.
Type 79 Jyu-MAT
The Type 79 anti-tank missile was designed to replace the Type 64 shells. Development work lasted from 1964 to 1979.
