Can you please give this man some hope? @Grzegames has been the most valuable suggestion maker for Japan. Although i understand his reason to quit, we should try to avoid it, due to missing out on tons of information.
I didn’t know that and it’s extremely sad. The game started with that era and it should be kept alive because a significant part of the community is into it. Focusing only on top tier will be the game’s downfall
Did you seriously tag a developer?
THEY are the ones responsible for this crap and how much of a downward spiral we’re in.
Boost morale? More like sell you another god damn premium.
I really don’t get their approach with that. Wouldn’t it be far more sustainable if the game leaned more into fleshing out all ranks more?
If Gaijin leans too heavily into hyping up the games future with only more and more modern content we will run out much sooner, while especially the earlier ties still have a lot of content to keep the game alive.
Yep, the game is being more and more filled with people who only care about top tier and new shiny jets, and less and less with people who enjoy all tiers and older ranks. Once they hit the wall of present tech, many of the people brought by the hype will start leaving and in the end, all this will result in a loss of playerbase
Adding infantry to the game is clearly Gajin’s way to make even more money. Premium infantry units (e.g., the VDV or Marines) will be added. For the past three damn years (that’s how long I’ve been playing War Thunder), it’s been clear that Gajin is only interested in the highest tier. When Indonesia and Malaysia were announced, it was clear Gajin was adding them to cover up the fact that no new Japanese vehicles were being added. We probably won’t see any more Japanese-made tanks or aircraft by the end of the year.
KF-21. Seeing as we already have most modern jet “families”, the KF-21 is one of the few remaining. Gajin most likely won’t use another F-15/F-18/Typhoon/Rafael/J-10/Su-27/Su-30 as “the main vehicle” so , Tejas and KF-21 seem the most likely as they are recognisable, lack any of their “family” in game unlike the previous list and won’t require as much balancing attention as 5th gens or bombers
Yk superhornet is already in the game right?
Also I’m not convinced adding an entire nation for a single jet is a great idea, I’d rather see the KF-21 added through another tree. I’d say Korea would be a decent sub for, idk, usa? I really don’t know where it’d go
Think I got it mixed up with something else, my bad
I’m going off gajin’s statement where they mentioned a Korean tree plan. I’m personally fine with it as it also brings quite a few interesting ground vehicles, decent coastal roster and the Noth Korean hybrid props.
Regardless, there’s not a lot stand out aircraft types for gajin to make as the poster plan of the update as I seriously doubt they’d use another typhoon or flanker as the main draw for air.
I’ve said i before t and I’ll say it again, literally every subtree barring Thailand and Finland (maybe Norway as well) was placed and done poorly (Romania was actually good in Italy until it was solely used for copy paste sams and the umpteenth event/premium). Even then there’s still plenty of unique Thai and Finnish vehicles missing.
In terms of unique vehicles, it’s easily the best one (iirc even it’s gripen C has a different armament load out than the other ones)
Issue is that most of the vehicles added were lights which the UK could fill (Scorpion, Simba, Saladin, R02003,Coventry armoured cars etc). Until there’s some rework to provide more tree space, it’s going to be difficult to see more domestic UK light vehicles and South African vehicles that aren’t lights.
The suggestion below shows that with Jordan, South Africa could have a good ground tree (although admittedly air is an issue).
So basically what you meant is that the finnish tree was inplemented well and was needed whereas the south african one was implemented well but not needed?
