One general thing for all stealth planes should be a way to deploy the luneburg lens (would remove your stealth) but I am sure some industrious warthunder team members can use it to there advantage in SAM hunting.
at least Japan can get KF-21 through Indonesia but its not a gen 5 with true stealth and weapons bay, no tvc or super cruise neither.
close enough Japan is going to have a good top tier though I fear a VT-4 incident concerning the KF-21
My guess is we have to wait until there’s a United Korean TT before we get to see more of South Korea tech in other TT.
That K9 is just one off things to test the water.
they where chill so I don’t think Gaijin will care come to think about it.
If they want they can base one like this on the X-2 too, with pale yellow color used that was also seen on F-X weapons bays together with a green color.
Unpainted X-2
F-X weapons bay prototype with yellow/green unpainted parts
But it would still need to be mostly grey, because the unpainted composite bonded structure seems to have dark grey coloring.
Yellow/green primer might still be used, the fuselage just was completely unpainted with no primer.
I don’t think so, there was no issue with Thai used KGGB either and unlike that the KF-21 was a joint project including Indonesia.
But they might want to wait until the Korean techtree releases so they can add both and let it be a new vehicle alongside the techtree release. I think the same will happen for the FA-50 too.
Problem is they said it’s highly likely that sk wont appear untill next year or even after
So there’s a chance that some nations will be stuck with f35 megdon
Yeah until then we might just have to wait. At least there’s more to offer from Indonesia than just the IF-21, right now their prototype wasn’t even delivered yet so it will take some time anyways.
A lot probably will, for example Germany at best with EADS Mako (not sure if enough of it was built) would still not have anything at or above the level of the F-35A for 5th gen. Others just have nothing else (unless I missed something) and at best have unique or slightly different F-35s like the F-35I, the Norwegian F-35A with brake chute or the British F-35B with ASRAAM/Meteor (but Britain could maybe get BAE Replica too?).
Really only USA and China get a lot of variety past F-35, USSR has a few options but less and everyone else just has one or two F-35 variants and maybe an unfinished prototype if they’re lucky. Even future nations are similar like a Korean tree (F-35A + KF-21 Block 3) or Turkish tree (KAAN, F-35 seems unlikely) with only few 5th gen options.
