Missile damage

Just delete the game from this planet already, several matches 0 damage with missiles that would rip apart the jet irl or everyone crashes because servers die every 5 minutes

yep. and before that , they made changes on rockets, heat , aphe etc , and while it was just 90% of fragments from missile went straight forward, what caused that hit and crit problem before that 2.53.0.26 update, now missiles spall on all directions but since modules HP is buffed it still works similiar.

They really should make it direct hit of missile on fuselage /cockpit area is always a KILL.
No goddamn jet survives when 10-20Kg(or over) of explosive + all fragments blows under canopy, especially when that jet is flying well over Mach…

But now, we can flip a coin , not that will you fly, but what weapon will work. Sometimes radar missiles dont work , sometimes they do.

Or the incredible ghosting on the literal most advanced radars of the 4.5th gens they can add before 5th gens. Or RWRs going blind every other patch

got a match yesterday with a JH-7A eating 5 missiles from my type 03 and safely landing on the airfield, this is ridiculous, multipathing is already a huge problem and now this

say no more, multipathing doesnt do anything in 8/10 scenarios anymore too, my radar missiles hit when they are literally scraping the ground while i launch them from at best 40m alt myself lmao

ig, but im only getting hits with AIM-7E2’s against planes that should be snapping in half. so there is definitely an issue

game overall so broken a slightly yellow wing disabled pretty much my entire jet lol couldnt even use my gun

Yeah, even from own wingman.
Fired Aim9 on friendly F15.
It managed to fly back to base

But problem is, when missile hits plane , and I mean HIT , not proxy explosion on plane moving away from missile, it still makes a hit or crit

this might or might not have been kill worthy missiles, but i’ve been experiencing things like this constantly.

its gotten to the point i fired 4 sparrows at 1 f18 after i got a “hit” on one of them.

You know something isn’t right when even R27ER’s no longer kill reliably. It’s just convenient for game to be more RNG after patch and the devs “don’t know why” lol

What? R27ER’s are the only missile that currently works well, I am always getting destroyed by them.

When I use non-Russian missiles they just don’t work.

The entire time I was using them to grind the Su30 SM2, it was like a 50/50 chance to kill/severe or hit/crit. Supposedly all damage models got a hp buff or something that wasn’t even in the dev server? Just dumb last-minute stuff that no one is asking for is the whole problem.

YES. C’mon, Gaijin! Like we already have a problem with planes miraculously flatspinning and spamming missiles after getting blown out of the air as if they magically stay aerodynamic and don’t tumble and disintegrate… This is just silly.

So true, when a plane is damaged it literally falls apart mid air, in real life the pilot ejects or they get eliminated.

Its even worse when it happens with one of the SU series of planes, they have 6 ARH’s on their central fuselage they can just fling off in a flat spin.

Things like this are long standing issues that need to be fixed to allow for fair play and the longevity of War Thunder as we know it.
