couldn’t find much info but what really are the differences between the f1az and f1cz? either way they both should be in game in the british tree
AZ is the ground attack variant and doesn’t have a radar iirc.

The CZ has a BVR radar, same one as the F-1s currently in the game, but it doesn’t get the Super 530F only the older 530. AZ gets a WVR range only radar and a laser range finder under the nose, that would give it CCIP and CCRP. The AZ also gets an additional fuel tank behind the cockpit. IR missiles are the same on both with the exception being the V3C the CZ was retired by the time it was being tested on the AZ (I think)
can’t it not use the r-darter active-radar missile or is it limited to using french missiles?
They were retired before R-Darter
A more substantial list is in the main body of the suggestion but for the most part its best air-to-air load out would be 2x Python 3 and 2x Magic Is.
ahh ok that’s a shame would’ve been nice too have some active radar missiles on it but oh well we’ll have to wait for the cheetah c for more r-darter
It appears that (before the Super F1 project begun) the F1CZ was actually flown with R-73’s. I guess that can be added to the armaments list too

Hopefully there is also some or other pictures with it also carrying a more advanced Fox 1 like R27, R530D, AIM-7F so it isn’t only a good knife fighter
So is this superior or worse to the premium mirage already in the game? the 12.0 one.
No Magic IIs, so inferior overall. But it does have a much-improved RWR as well as HMD
It’s also worth noting that as a South African vehicle this would almost certainly go to the British tree and not the French one, so it’s not really a competitor to the F1C-200

The Mirage F1CZ never operationally used the V3C. Please read the suggestion in full for more information ;)
