Having the Super 530D and Magic 1 for the S3 modernized would not make sense, given the fact that they got the RDI after some S4 were upgraded as 2000-5F, in the end of the 90’s. The Magic 2 was already around for a while then, and we can also add that the 530D came around the same time as the Magic 2.
The main thing that would make the upgraded 2000C-S3 worse than the S5 is the engine, it’s still using the M53-5, so the impact on the flight performance would be quite signifiant when compared to the later S4 and S5, powered by the M53-P2.
This is already enought to justify a lower BR than the S5, artificially nerfing the weaponry would not only be inaccurate but unnecessary and damaging : it would be really rought to be stuck with rear aspect missiles at 11.7, especially when you have only 4. The F14A is the only 11.7 currently in that case, but it has twice the ammount of missiles and can carry the Phoenix.
I would also think that a 11.0 Mirage F1 with Magic 1 might be in a worse spot than 11.3 with Magic 2, because theses are basically the bulk of its firepower, the 530F is useless against anything with chaffs and the 530E is badly outdated at 11.0, so you’re already left with only 2 missiles that are efficient.
In my opinion, if it would become a thing, only the F1C should be concerned, the F1CT should stay with the Magic 2, also by the fact that it’s a 90’s modernisation.

That is an issue in your part actually.
All aspect missiles require pre flaring to some extend.
If you want to be safe regarding headons you have to pre flare and perhaps even cut the afterburner.
The same is true for R-73 or even R-60M in very short ranges.
I do not see the issue Sir.
Perhaps you misread or ought to explain where you believe I went wrong.
Dear friend, the most part of the frustration was caused by me in my Mig-21 playing vs IRCCM missile at 11.0, which shouldn’t happen, it went straight for me, head on, I think I pre flared as well there, but it didn’t even flinch. I play this game long enough to know about all-aspect missiles and no, not all all-aspect missiles require pre flaring, Aim-9L is flared easily head on, I’d argue even Aim-9M. This whole situation was caused by a bunch of factors stacking on top of each other and I already kinda got it. It was not caused by the lack of pre-flaring
I see.
You are aware of the possibilities of min ranged R-60M and R73 I assume.
Disregarding the state of various missiles in game at one point or another you got slapped by Br compression plain and simple.
Wen can do nothing but lamment together.^^
Mirage 2000 S4/S5 are lovely to play right now ofc.
At other battle ratings different planes have similar advantages.
Usually Magic 2 should not hit when you are preflaring with cut afterburner.
Yesterday I grinded 420k rp in mig-21, I’m not going back to playing 11.0 for a while now, ahaha.
