PIDS are certainly useful, but they have no advantage over the F-16C, just a slightly lighter aircraft weight.
I hope they at least add an HMD mode.

other than friendly markers it doesnt seem like it displays alot of super useful info (G load) but itll be better than what we have now
IMO it’s still better than the F-16C if the PIDS can carry missile and the aircraft receive radar HMD. A total of 300 normal sized countermeasure, with MAWS as a bonus, is making F-16AM one of the best defensive fighters in Fox 3 meta. Although at high speed, both are flying bricks, but when at low speed, F-16AM really excels and due to being lighter and still retain the same fuel tank size, it will shine more than F-16C in the late game phase. You can literally dogfight anyone in that aircraft.

No matter how much lighter than the F-16C, an F-16 is still an F-16. There is a lot of potential to lose a low-speed battle to a delta-wing aircraft, and I’m not the type of player who likes dogfights, so I find HMDs far more useful.

I got it from War Tinder’s Localization Project, it is said that the chaff dispenser of Mirage 2000 is 50mm which imply its large calibre size.

This is a bit offtopic, but it seems that the cockpit model of the F-16AM is not the same as the reality. They didn’t model the RWR display correctly, so it’s in a very unnatural state and I’ve created a report.

Mirage 2000D RMV is not required to do such things, as said by others, the MICA’s are here for self defence only.
Yet, long range ability have been done through DATA LINK (through Link16), a “Mirage 2000-5F Vi” locks onto a ennemy and allows the Mirage 2000D RMV to go for long range or close combat range MICA-IR full ability from the Mirage 2000D RMV, as the required data are sent to MICA-IR thanks to the other aircraft.
Yet in-game No DataLink of any kind, no collaborative game of any kind as well.
