Just saw the test event on the RU Drv stream with M2K, it gets 6 MICA EM

With the Dev Server is coming soon enough. Will there any chance of M2K or M4K buff? Su-25SM3 seems getting MAWS, I really want the MAWS for M2K so I don’t have to look back too longer lol.

good days are ahead

magic 2 aswell very very very good and automatic radar finally

What did they do with the magic 2?

50g its not on stat card

New Magic 1 and Magic 2 changes. Both missiles now get a guidance delay from 0.5 → 0.3 seconds. Also, both pull to 35G much quicker with the fins accelerating more.

Very nice, I hope the seeker gets buffed too

is it still not 50g

Nope. Still not 50G. Seems they want to “slowly” keep buffing this missile overtime. No seeker buffs yet either. So they’ll just buff Magic 2 later on to keep Mirage 2000-5F relevant and competitive.

The MICA EM and new Magic 2 might be “enough” for now.

that is really crazy

Could the M2K carry 6x MICA EM and 2x Magic 2?

Yes. These changes should prove to everyone that Gaijin unofficially “balances” missiles even if Smin says otherwise. There’s only two more changes left for Magic 2 anyhow, so maybe it’ll come in a year or less.

No, it could not. 6 maximum missiles.

There’s 4 wing pilons and 4 fuselage pylons.
Is it limited to 6 because of the FCS?

I know the French airforce typically carry fuel tanks on the inner wing pylons, but is there anything actually stopping you from having 8 missiles?

We have no confirmation but that is my suspicion. We have statements from MBDA, Dassault, and a Greek Major General that the maximum missiles able to be carried is 6. It’s not necessarily that France couldn’t fix it if they wanted to, but that they didn’t see a need for more than 6 missiles.

Early Rafales had the same problem, and it was said to be a FCS limitation. However, when there was a need for more than 6 missiles, the FCS was updated to have 8 missiles.

If France wanted to, I don’t see why they couldn’t update the FCS to carry more than 6. But it’s not in their doctrine to have a large missile load when that would hinder its flight performance.

was the 530d changed at all

Good question, checking now

Only changes in the files seems to be what they said in the changelog,

" The AIM-7F/M, R-27R/ER, RB.71, Skyflash (all variants), Aspide, R-530F/D missiles are now less prone to switching to a target appearing in the direction different from the direction of the last target."
