Mirage 2000 Thread : Variants, performance, characteristics and sources

its not, its 20kg difference

you have 32 large flares + spirale if you are having troubles with that…

yes the br is kinda stupid but we dont have to make up stuff

Taiwanese one, and clearly yes since everyone glazes it so hard.

so why is the 4000 13.0 again?

I found it to feel heavier and more brickish than the M2KSC4.

I don’t think there’s any statistical analysis to back that up but yeah, I had such a great time with the SC4 that I was sorely disappointed when I got the Temu Mirage.

do you have the 5F to compare?

Very good aircraft.

It’s a VERY different plane to fly from anything in the Chinese tree, but in France you have the Mirage III line that kinda preps you for it, so that might be why. Not skill issue, not a bad plane, just a big change that throws anyone off

What do you think about keeping MICA IR from the Taiwanese Mirage in the future? It woudl help make 5F ane EI more distinct from each other.

I only have the Mirage 2000 5Ei and the SC4.

Looking at the WT Wiki (I know) it says that the 5Ei is actually lighter than the SC4 by 100kgs.

Well, they didn’t bought mica ir if i remember well, if so it would be normal that the taiwaneese mirage should not get mica ir.

If only that logic has ever been employed by Gaijin (it hasn’t)

half of the time yes

They haven’t?

Gaijin have always operated on the premise that if, in this case, the aircraft can operate the system or munition, then it becomes a viable modification or loadout option.

US F-5C with flares that the plane never had except in foreign country service and the German MiG-29 9.12 with R-27ERs that Germany never bought - just to name a few examples.

It’s highly likely that if MICA-IRs were to come to the 5F, the 5Ei would get it too. That being said, I don’t expect any Mirages to get the IR variant, only the Rafale.

Gripen is compatible with mica for example but they never bought any mica.

Well they have IRIS-T which is more than enough for close range engagements, thats why they didnt bother to buy it.

Maybe Gripen NG and E model can recieve MICA IR due to their compatibility.

That would be expected but we are playing War Thudner here…

That would be disgusting.

And the Tomcats are compatible with AMRAAMs and the MiG-23s are compatible with R-73s.

Loadouts are a balancing tool by the Devs and I speculate that they also want to keep some individuality between the between the nations.

We’ve arrived at a point where we are grinding planes for their ordinance, not the planes themselves. What’s the point in grinding 3 different top tier planes when you can grind the Gripen that can do it all?

Well that might be, since aside from the J-10, the only other 13.7’s I have are the F-16C/F-15C.

even if it would be only by 20 kg, its still heavier, which in a dogfight between those 2, with same skilled pilots, would be a disadventage.

i didnt say i have “troubles with that”, i pointed out that 2000d rmv just has more cm, which is true

yes the br is kinda stupid but we dont have to make up stuff

its not “kinda stupid” its “really stupid”, also what did i made up?
