Yes, we’re likely to see MICA EM and Magic 2 buffs for the aforementioned future instead of MICA IR anytime soon.
I do wonder if MICA EM will cause Gaijin to finally fix spinning out of control for thrust vectoring missiles.
Possible as more and more missiles in the future will use TVC.
This is not only due to TVC missiles, but all missiles with high AoA values. They will likely correct the issue soon in regards to the wobbling issue becoming increasingly important to fix as it hampers the ability for these new BVR missiles to reach the intended ranges they were designed for.
Might need dampening simulation in the control surfaces?
Or something similar…
@TrickZZter Could you explain how a bug causing a missile to do backflips into the ground is a suggestion? It’s a game bug, not a historical report.
I don’t think he responds here
He does sometimes check US forums, rarely
CM nerf and Damocles 800x600? lmfao dm
- 3rd generation detector
- recognition of armored targets at 27km
Isn’t this nerf applied to all Aircraft? Making all aircraft launch only single CM when choosing flare only instead of two CM?
I see it as a buff/nerf buff in the side of more shots and a nerf by needing to spam your CM button more.
All the new missile reports are being treated suggestions. That’s probably just for the duration of the test.
Lord anything with Magic 2’s is gonna get so powercrept when this thing hits its’ full capability.
They fixed the TWS lock bug, so you’re now able to lock targets in TWS again. Also, all MRAAMs had the same change with the update today, looks like they applied the same changes on radars to the missiles
Did aim-54 receive this change as well by chance?
It did not interestingly.
That is interesting, thanks for checking.
AIM-54 is pending seeker and kinematics overhaul so it isn’t surprising. Maximum overload by mach / alt was overhauled along with magic 2 but this didn’t fix the issue of it using single vs combined plane.
Evidence was forwarded showing it should achieve max overload sooner and sustain higher Gs across a wider range of the flight envelope, same as magic 2.
