Spoiler

MiG-29M2 9.47S Blue 747 Story starts in 2006 with Syria signing an contract to acquire 12 MiG-29M/M2s for its own use, and the first two examples MiG-29M 9.41S Blue 741 and MiG-29M2 9.47S Blue 747 being completed in December 2011. Both would make their debut at KADEX 2012 show in Kazakhstan. However due to the outbreak of the Syrian civil war both blue 741 and blue 747 would not be delivered and remain the only two produced examples of the 9.41S/47S line until 2015 with Egypt becoming the official launch customer. Both blue 741 and blue 747 would remain as property of RSK and make airshow appearances advertising the platform and serving as test units for their own development of the platform. Blue 747 would itself get MiG-35 decal added to it to advertise the more advanced version but it was still an MiG-29M2 at the end of the day. in July 2025 photos online would emerge of blue 747 with an brand new cockpit layout with an brand new HUD similar to the one mounted in the Su-57 and a full screen MFD replacing the analog instruments in the cockpit.
