Reminds me that recently I checked out the unpainted camo of the P-63A-10 and it looked cleaner than literally every top tier jet and I found this hilarious

depends on which one, the 2016 models for the Russian VKS are mostly referred to as MiG-35S/MiG-35UB 9-41SR/9-47SR, while the MiG-35/MiG-35D is mostly seen advertised as for the hypothetical export models also they still probably use the 9-61/9-67 designation on export units aswell

Su-35S isn’t that overdue considering how the Su-30SM2 is implemented.
I think Balta’s right, like for the Su-35 the MiG-35S is the base model of the Russian air force and the MiG-35 is the export name

it should have been the Su-35S instead of a half baked 30SM2
and it is basically garantueed that the Su-35S will come in the near future since BVVD said that we will only get next gen IR missiles once everyone has a plane with a MAW
they probably already had the x-ray model for the Irbis laying around due to them working on the Su-35S

Sure thing, I’d just like to highlight that the MiG-35S was already due before the eurocanards and we kept getting more and more flankers without a single new Fulcrum. But indeed the implementation choices are very poor overall
yeah true, was pretty disappointed when we got this half baked SM2 thing instead of the real deal
Su-35 impact got basically halved by the SM2, yes it will still bring something more, but the big differences are here pretty much.
OLS-35 tho, finally a “useful” IRST to a certain extent

like gaijin couldnt even bother with changing out the HUD in 1st person mode
it has a copy pasted Su30SM cockpit
and on the dev server you could see that it is just the 30SM with some extra antennas while they couldnt even bother modeling the CM dispensers correctly
