they shouldn’t, only for like one sam (hercules) if i recall correctly. but in game they get launch notifications for any cw launch
It doesn’t really matter, as the spo 15 can still discern between normal lock and cw (cw means that a missile is being guided) so it could still tell if a missile has been launched on it, but irl it wouldnt give a launch warning

I have MiG-29Gs flight manual(GAF T.O. 1F-MIG29-1) but, there are no mention about SPO-15 and included to supplemental manual which is not available in internet.

But it dosent give you a launch tone for certain things
It will still have an extra light turn on for CW, which indicates a launch

currently writing a suggestion draft on the MiG-29M/M2 from 2005, the naming system they use on the mig 29 models got me malding bro like it starts simple with 9.12 then 9.13 after that its all over the place lmao 9.xx, doesnt help either that everyone also gets the naming of the models confused as well when listing stuff

Now with the addition of the Korean tech tree coming in and the a North Korean Mig-29 coming in, I think its time to update the mig 29 and remove the ER while replacing it with the R and replacing the R-60M/MK with R-73s. Gaijin must notice that the game has changed and many 12.7s and 13.0s carry counter countermeasures missiles now.

Hopiumly there will be MiG-29 fixes when the Korean Tech Tree arrives.
it’s pretty similar to US “Block X” imo. 9-12 and 9-13 pretty self-explanatory, 9-15 is MiG-29M back from the 90s, 9-17 is SMT from the 90s, 9-18 and 9-19 are modern versions of SMT made from 9-12 and 9-13 airframes respectively. 9-31 was first version of 29K from the 90s that was developed in parallel with 9-15 with 85% of unification. 9-41 is modern 29K used by Russia and India. The odd ones are MiG-29M and M2 that were based on 29K so they had 9-41S and 9-47S chassis names (S probably means “Sukhoputniy” - land based). And then there are export M and M2 that are used by Egypt (and i think someone else?) that are modernised 9-41S and 9-47S and have 9-61 and 9-67 chassis. Everything else is pretty much prototypes or some foreighn modifications.

Yeah it’s pretty inconsistent and arbitrary, also sometimes they recycle designations of older versions that were abandoned or renamed

Played it in sim and schwacked a bunch of people. Most fun I’ve had in a while. The performance felt much better than in RB for some reason (maybe placebo) ✋🙂↕️🤚
I am positive in that it looks really cool but not much else.
