What would be different in game between the smt and the upg?

also seeing articles from may this year mentioning the IAF buying RVV-SDs to equip for their MiG-29UPGs along side their Su-30MKI
cool to see the zhuk radar being made compatible with the newer R-77-1/RVV-SD
77-1s in the SMT and the Fullback would be a dream come true, especially in sim

yep that ability to keep notching while keeping the DL updated + with R-77-1 on the zhuk-m/me would go hard

anyone have any info about the Zhuk-AE on the MiG-35 if it keeps the full 90° max scan angle like on the normal Zhuk-M?

it probably couldve been integrated, but just never was due to costs
the 9.x notation is similar to the block numbers of the f-16
with each number after the “9” representing a new version/ upgrade
here is the wikipedia page for the Mig-29 variants not 100% accurate but good enough to get an idea
