Before we get proper ECM, we need proper fox 3 seekers, cause right now the seekers are so weak ecm would kill them.

i was talking about plane to plane datalink. IRL Su-30 can link up with up to 4 Su-27s to serve as a mini AWACS

i quite enjoy fox 3 meta, but i wish it was boring ah BVR.
right now the gameplay is just slinging fox 3s in Wvr.

wouldnt fixed seekers/accurate CM effectiveness make ARH missiles lore accurate IIR levels of lethal? which would strengthen BVR meta?
20km isn’t strictly WVR. Half of the targets aren’t even visually rendered. And even at this distance it’s extremely stale and boring. I just spaded Eurofighter and it was the most mind numbing experience that i ever had in this game. I much rather use Flankers becasue their limitations actually push me into more interesting scenarios than just sitting in a notch and firing 120s at opportune targets.

Well, outside of game jank VISUALLY detecting a jet at 20km might only be possible at high altitude via contrails.

IF gaijin added SMT without humpback version it would’ve been best 13.3 in game, in fact it probably ended up 13.7.
