I hope we get both (S folded under the 9-13, the M after the SMT). If I had to choose though MiG-29M 9-15 all the way, it’s the best MiG-29 flight performance wise until the MiG-35/M2, which are both too modern and imho also uglier than the 9-15

The Su-27 we’re getting is not the SM variant so there’s no point in the F-15 getting AMRAAMs if the Su-27 can’t get R-77s.

Without the amraams the f15 won’t be able to do shit against the su, the aim7s are not comparable to the 27er… But the saddest of them will be the poor gripen that’ll most likely get only 9Ls (poor delta boy). They could add both r77s and the amraams to balance the game, i expect Russia to dominate top tier for the next months (unless they limit the flanker’s armaments).

IMO perfect balance does not exist. It’ll do just fine in practice the same way the F-16C is doing well against the MiG-29s even without AMRAAMs.
But the 29 can carry only 2 of them, average fulcrum players lose most of their missiles on the start of the match and then it becomes easy to come close and defeat them with the ufo abilities of the viper, now 6 27ers is overkill…

apparently the su27 is very maneuverable rn @Ziggy1989, i’ll be testing on the devserver. I’ve been watching the devstream it’s pulling like crazy, poor f15 will get destroyed
And the Eagle rips its wings when it thinks about maneuvering. Hope that doesn’t remain the case.
I would say, leave it that way, since the f16 is a ufo and gaijin doesn’t want to fix it, it seems fair
