The MiG-23M was produced until 1978 and was in service long after the R-60M arrived, so we can assume that he also had them available. At least it is confirmed that the MiG-23M carried them as a test platform.
However, many other sources state that he carried them as a standard weapon. Of course, this is not a discussion about the MiG-23, so we should return to the topic of the MiG-29. In this case, the AA armament of the MiG-29 should look like this:
- iz. 9-12: R-27R1 and R-73 without R-27T1 and R-27ER1 - BR 12.3 (with fixed FM)
- iz. 9-13: R-27R/T/P and R-73 without R-27ER1 - BR 12.3 (with fixed FM)
- iz. 9-19: R-27ER/ET and R-73 - BR 12.3 (maybe 12.7 with fixed FM)
Of course, to fill the gap between the MiG-23 and the MiG-29, a pair of R-73 should also be put on the MLD and moved to 11.7-12.0 BR (as you stated) and added to the folder MiG-23P or bis.

Says they are conceding and giving the MiG-29 the 60 degree AoA (should be able to do 90 degree Cobra if that is the case)… and they are also reducing the spin tendencies a bit so that it can recover from post-stall maneuvers that result in excess yaw / roll and spin conditions.

They apparently do not believe their eyes, and don’t agree with director of TsAGI that MiG-29 is capable of Cobra and the excessive drag / loss of lift above 24 degrees is “realistic”.

Gaijin could add a “mid” MiG-29 like the MiG-29S, and perhaps the MiG-29M 9-15 as an event vehicle in the future when it’s appropriate
what about the drag changes? that make the 29 bleed speeds almost like a delta wing plane

I hope the 9-15 will also be in the tech tree, as it is both the best MiG-29 that isn’t a MiG-35 or a modern MiG-29K and is also the aircraft that would have been the backbone of the Soviet Airforce had the USSR not collapsed.
It could very well be, together whit the su27sm, the top fighter the USSR tree will get, since I don’t think Gaijin will start introducing 5th gens and extremely modernized 4++ gen whose performance would be complete fantasy as everything about them is classified.

I guess “mid” MiG-29 might be MiG-29SM (9-13SM) & MiG-29SMT (9-17)
I expect next month dev consider add R-73 & R-73E on MiG-29A (9-12A) (DDR) & MiG-29 (9-13) (USSR and could be 12.0 or 12.3 but remove R-27ER/R-27ER1

It should stay as Germany should not be made inferior to Soviets just cause real-life Germany didn’t have a weapon for their vehicle.
