Looking at the mock-up and 9.31 gave me an interesting idea. What if MiG-29K is limited to 6 R-77s total but not to specific pylons? Maybe it’s FCS limitation, not a structural one?
Seems stupid imo… but ok looks live there will be an event MIg29 sometime in the far far future

sounds kinda odd, but wouldn’t we have seen a R-77 on the outer hardpoint by now then tbh? i think its more of a structural limitation
Considering that regular loadout is just 2+ 2 there is barely a reason to do it

come to think about how the indian MiG would get the talisman pod which can also function as a MAW afaik
Belarusian MiG-29s also run it iirc. Can be given to 9.13 under “technical compatibility”

Eurofighter MAW works similarly from my understanding
you can counter report with 8 x r-77 to restore things to the way they were before the nerfing report
But that’s for a different variant. It’s not the mig-29k we have in game.
Btw the ‘official’ website has no max missile limit on Mig29M/M2 and doesn’t ever mention limitation apart from how ‘universal’ Mig29k / Mig35 (Mig29M(?)/M2) platforms are so that the only thing differentiating them is the arrestor hook, lighter gear and non foldable wing…
Perhaps the issue is in long-term material fatigue from drag on the very edges of wingtips… and or the transition to more ‘carbon’ made it unsuitable for heavier payload on a folding wingtip design (assuming 9.31 was like full ‘metal’
Bruh wouldn’t 9.31 be just better as radar crossection are neglible in WT and 9.31 could have the flares from OG Mig29M with the 120 on the spine (?)…
