Would the 9-31 model out perform the 9-41 model in flight performance? As far as I can tell the 9-31 is a Mig29m but with the naval wings and engines of the 41?

It wouldn’t. 9.31 and 9.41 have the same weight, but 9.31 engines are weaker, and naval wing of 9.31 have smaller surface area of flap section (but still slightly bigger than 9.15).
This is stretching the definition of “modern” by quite a bit, but I guess now I understand from where Gaijin took their inspiration of USSR top tier before Su-30SM and overall buffs to flankers and radars
Well it’s either that or MiG-29S (also with just R-77s) if you want something with ARH missiles at all on red side. DCS is completely in favor of western, american jets.

Its the HUD recorder, some reason they removed it some time back, probably around when they started doing custom MFD pages
I remember on the old forums someone had posted a picture of the real life HUD recorder view

@Stona_WT I assume we’re meant to be able to change the CMs right? Or at least bring chaff?
If not then… that’s an odd balancing decisions.
