Mig25 type of altitude, what does 27.3 stand for?

People speculate that it’s something connected to navigation. Maybe distance or heading to next waypoint or something

27.3 seconds of fuel left, at least going from WT fuel consumption.

At that alt is looking pretty grim.

Apparently in Arma it is

image

  1. Current speed in km/h
  2. Current direction
  3. Current altidude ASL
  4. Waypoint mark
  5. Distance to current waypoint
  6. Text indicating that March mode is engaged
  7. Bank indicator
  8. Acceleration indicator - displays whether plane is accelerating

Is MiG-29 even capable of reaching such altitude in War Thunder?

I think the engines really struggle to push at that alt in wt, I honestly doubt it.

I’ll test it when I get home.

that is exactly it

it also is so irl

No Shchel has been seen mounted on a MiG-29K/KR

Sura: no evidence of compatibility or usage

Spoiler

MiG-29K Brochure mentions a helmet mounted display made by Thales is available:

atleast one Russian navy MiG-29KUBR is known to have tested the TopSight once at the MiG plant, so the 9.41R/47R should be qualifeid for it as per gaijins technical rules. And according to MiG the K/KUB share the same airborne equipment and weapons as well as the high unification level of structure. So equipment should be fully transferable.
