This is cursed

few updates ago i think. Landing flaps are still diflected to the full, while take-off flaps are deflected about halfway

quick question, is there a reason why the Mig29kr lack Air to ground weapons ?

i am just saying because if we go by gaijin way, its must have at least the Kh38 / grom glide bomb.
or even just gnss fab-500. ( not glide one )

I think no one submitted an issue. Of course, the more likely scenario is that they did so for the so-called “game balance”. They could even use the excuse of “insufficient information” to deny that the MiG-29KR can carry the R-77-1. How absurd! A fighter jet that entered service in 2014 cannot carry the air-to-air missile of the same country at the same time.

They were never integrated it seems. MiG-29K in Russian service was only used in combat once i think, doing several CAS sorties in Syria. And it used freefall bombs and rockets. Nowadays they are just chilling (both literally and figuratively lmao) in Severomorsk doing training flights and such.

Gaijin doesn’t want MiG-29K above 13.7 so they are using everything in their power to deny 77-1.

Its very odd considering theres a 14.0 spot it can fill easily, Russian air is only going to start getting cramped around the 13.7 bracket with more and more additions to it. With the addition of the 29K we’re going to be at 4 13.7 aircraft and 0 14.0 aircraft.

There is a spot, but there is no performance to fill it proper. MiG-35 with MAW and R-77-1, alongside lighter airframe would be a better choice for 14.0 airframe imo

I saw the MiG-35D brochure for the first time

Have you noticed any problem?
In the current game, the MiG-29K has only had its ability to use the parachute removed, but the device used to carry the parachute has not been removed. This device still conflicts with the model of the landing hook.

anyone know how to modify the weight and thrust values on statshark in the FM calculator?

Okay so i think i put in the values correct with removing some thrust percentage to get the desired number and tweaking the overall mass

i corrected the RD-33MKs engines to an 8700kgfs thurst and subtracted 1.5 tons mass from one of them to simulate a hypothetical 11000kg empty weight on MiG-35 according to some secondary sources lmao:

  2. MiG-29 corrected engine thrust Orange line
  3. MiG-29K current engine thrust Green line

  5. MiG-29M Purple line
