Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-29 Fulcrum - History, Design, Performance & Dissection (Part 1)

Rd-33k/mk is smokeless?

Kinda surprising

Fulcrum tax will make them all into flying buns. MiG-35 is your best bet. It’s still 30% composites like naval version, but it also have de-navalised wing, so it should be even lighter with removal of hydraulics and folding mechanism, while still featuring larger wing with bigger flaps

I will see if I get time this evening, what is the drop tank issue? I haven’t heard of it

be prepared for 32 countermeasures tho

I will check it out later when I get home

Geniunely thats not my concern. I do dogfights and longer range bvr and prefer terrain masking. I want a mig that performs and I can actively rival an F-16. Aslong as its above 30CM im fine.

One side aspect aim 9m and you’re cooked though

it is issue is that i couldnt find a good image or video of an RD-33K equipped mig yet

if we can have SM2 with Irbis, we can have MiG-35 with AESA

jokes on you, i have rocket pods

i posted video of 312 on an airshow, 9.31 is also equipped with RD-33K

Would an air show demonstration of mig-29m 156 before the thrust vectoring nozzles be sufficient evidence?

Send me proof the MiG-29 Bugs screenshots. I have the report ready to send

as long as it is clearly visible that it dosent leave a coal trail

Bort 154 in its MiG-29M2 config was still equipped with the RD-33K afaik, 154 only received the MK in 2007 when it became the MiG-35

those images are apparently from 2003

issue is that this right here is no source
