Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-29 Fulcrum - History, Design, Performance & Dissection (Part 1)

Yup.

while it doesnt mention an specific TGP it is advertised that it can use laser munitions

Because the TGP would be an export customer thing, VKS/MOD doesn’t see the need for them.

alas, abandoned

its was tested and its compatible.

its good for gaijin

I agree, and i think i saw several bug reports for this. But gaijin is gaijin

I don’t remember if it was tested but clearly it wasn’t lol, there’s been a bug report and forum thread about it for ages and gaijin hasn’t done anything w/ it.

We even have the Su-27SM in game that fitted SAPSAN irl, yet never seen.

sukhoi can eat dirt, time for migs to get some love.

also found the pod also being promoted nnext to the 9.19 ( is is 9.19 ? look like 9.17, idk )

9.17, says on the intake.

its the same as 9.19 ?

No, 9.17 has older avionics, 9.18 and 9.19 are much closer together

not its just better to add 9.18 and leave other to dust.

why gaijin didnt do that.

same reason why Gaijin jumped straight to F-16C Block 50

stupid gaijin

9.17 is the larger spinned member of the SMT family, and the oldest.
9.17

Spoiler

9.19

Spoiler

The former (the big back) originally used regular RD-33s and N019ME w/ SPO-15LM (iirc) focused towards export (there was the half completed SMT-II program that gave it N010M and was planned to give it RD-43s but the latter never happened)

9.19 has less of a hump and N010M by default, it’s what we have in game and what Russia uses irl, and was later modernized to 9.19R standard (Adding L-150 and UV-5-08), Algeria (who also uses 9.19s) didn’t receive this modernization though obviously.
