I wonder what caused this weight increase considering every weight reducing action they took. Wing reinforcement? Avionics for functional FBW?
Probably reinforcement of wing slime you said and the fact that it has more fuel tanks.
Kinda like how the double seat mig-35 is lighter than normal mig-35 cause removal of fuel tank

Well, with equal fuel weight 29M right now is better that 9.12 (tho equal fuel weight means that 9.12 runs half a tank while 9.15 only 30%) apart from compression at high speed

what/how many missiles are used in the Normal TOW?
No. He’s the best in business for Soviet/Russian aircraft. It’s just that when the book is translated into English, sometimes proofreading isn’t a full 100% and often you can fill in those blanks yourself. The errors are really small when they do happen.

Dunno about fuel load, probably full tank for Fulcrums (Flankers use 60% internal fuel iirc for normal take-off)

I calculated this for fuel load. Considering the MiG-29s (lack of) range this must be full internal fuel
Hopefully this gets changed.
