Yeah the r27r are basically a slightly better sparrow - similar kinematic performance but can relock. Certainly not terrible missiles, just ER is a different beast entirely so compared to them they are dogwater. Mig should not be 13.0 even with ER’s and r73 now - the only reason is because gaijin is entirely stats driven, even though objectively it was one of the worst aircraft at 13.0 before the f16’s and f15’s even moved down.
Just needs a certain level of skill check to nullify the radar missile advantage, then u can pretty much just walk the mig all over the place - its only hope is a lucky r73 shot that both wins the beyblade lottery then actually succeeds through astute flaring, and that happens far less often than what it would take to make it close to an even fight on average. It’s a jet that u can do well in if you are decent until u run into a player of equal skill in any other 4th gen airframe and then your basically fk’d - which never feels like good balance and is a bad outcome of purely stat based decision making.

I think Sparrow overtakes R-27R eventually due to sustainer burning basically forever.
Me when N019 gets notched by accident. It’s comical how much worse it is at holding lock compared to N001.
I honestly just use R-73 at 3-4km of range nowadays just so enemy might not even notice a launch until it is too late.
I always laugh when people bring “it’s not the plane, it’s the pilot”. This statement only works when your enemy pretty much has NEGATIVE skill levels and basically fights his own aircraft more than he fights you. As soon as you get to even an “average” player that knows how to use aircraft at the basic level- it all is about a plane

yes the RD-33K produces 8800kgf in bench thrust compared to earlier RD-33s that have 8300kgf
i think the N010 model in not ready yet since the SMT still has the old Xray model on everything else aswell
7892 kgf in output with the extra power from the unlockable mods included pretty decent
