Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-29 Fulcrum - History, Design, Performance & Dissection (Part 1)

Early soviet, east German and hungarian mig29s will get 12.7 BR

Mig29G will get 13.0 BR

SMT will get 13.3 BR

More like it will forever be hunting for a customer that doesn’t exist because its 20 years passed relevance

They should apply some stealth coating on it and try to sell it as a somewhat stealthy aircraft.

Make no sense 29 smt 13.3 much better then 27sm 13.7

Lmao gaijin hid my comment because I mentioned the possibility of them being “stup1d”

Let’s remake the post:

I agree but I think they adjust it based on the statistics of the vehicles (which is kinda controversial), maybe the smt has less players than the sm and these few players that play with the smt are less skilled compared to the sm ones.

What bothers me more is the fact that the f16As will get 13.0 together with the french f16A, which is the only f16A that gets aim9m ingame, there’s 3 possibilities:

1- french f16A will lose the aim9m;

2- other f16As will get the aim9m;

3- gaijin has a different mindset that is beyond our comprehension.

Both are garbage, smt just has better radar but has just as worse everything else as su-27. Especially the garbage energy retention and horrible -77

Since the BR has been decompressed to some extent, Hungarian MiG-29 9.12B can get R-73 and R-27ET to make it equivalent to MiG-29G.

For 9.13? I don’t know because russia will lose equivalent of MiG-29 9.12A. Probably, If we gets original 9.12 which doesn’t have R-73s, 9.13 can gets R-73 and R-27ET.

All 29 should get moved up slightly with only 4 R-73 and while losing ER/ET.

There’s no reason for it to keep those if it gets R-73, and limiting to 4 would make a good choice.

Problem is BR difference between the MiG-29A and MiG-29G will be only 0.3BR after “decompression”, and the MiG-29G has the same BR as the F-15A/F-15J, M4K, and JAS39A(wtf gaijin)

MiG-29A will have same BR with F-16A Block 10 so, it is really questionable that MiG-29 with R-73+HMD would be good counterpart of Block 10s.

R-73E instead 6x R-60

But lose R-27ER1 & R-27ET1

MiG-29 (9-13) from USSR, 6x R-60 replace with R-73 but remove R-27E (R-27ER & R-27ET) like MiG-29 (9-12B)

MiG-29 9-12A & 9-12B and MiG-29G airframe lighter MiG-29 9-13 (USSR)

But MiG-29G already 2x R-73E & 6x R-73E

For 4 MiG-29 from USSR, GDR, Luftwaffe & HuAF

Some early f16s are getting 13.0 tho, Idk why they are doing that

Probably, they will gets AIM-9Ms?

F-16A Block 15 ADF with AIM-9Ms would be understandable for having same BR with some old 12.7BR jets.

Could be but idk if it would make sense for them to get 9ms while early 29s will stay with the r60 loadout

It should be 0.3 higher than block 10. Thing is MiG-29G sit in a strange spot right now, since it got to 12.7 because of its loadout, despite being one of the worst of its BR

Weak plane that loses all speed in 180* turn, and with worse maneuverability than F-16, according to gaijin.

Gaijin has his own physics. And so this is the 9-47C land version of the MiG-29KUB

And what a coincidence! The gaijin special physics say all russian aircraft must fall from sky after 1 turn, and all american jets must be rockets that never lose speed!!

One engine?
