Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-29/35 Fulcrum - History, Design, Performance & Dissection (Part 2)

Son… I guess I got no luck. Took me 11 kh31 launch from 29k to sink one dumbahh carrier

yeah if you get luck with where the bomb lands you can one shot the carriers

but the Fab-3000 one shots it every time regardless of where it hits

MiG-29 has a soft butt. Noted.

And only because there’s a limit of 20, otherwise I’d probably have like 50 more

No rockets pods. No peak.

Why use rockets?

Better for sead action

Which ones? I’ll try them

Try 2+2 air with 2 kh58 and 2 s-8 or s-13 your choice

added a few more, but at this point gaijin should consider making in-mission loadout customisation feature.

@Батончик @Ralin do you happen to know anything regarding Kh-25MP vs Kh-25MPU in terms of aircraft technical compatibility?
According to “МиГ-29 Легкий Фронтовой Истребитель” book from POLYGON MiG-29M 9.15 (and MiG-29K 9.31) can use up to 6 Kh-25MP missiles. Now, given the fact that Kh-25MP only operates on I band, while MPU gets a proper multiband seekerhead as well as having IOG it would be a significant improvement for a MiG-29M CAS capabilities and i was curious if it could be given trough “technical compatibility” rule.

There is already a suggestion regarding the MiG-29M 9-15

Oh, good to know, thx for the info. Hopefully MiG-29M will get attention it deserves and gets the stuff it supposed to have.

They are working too slow Ig. They haven’t even add Kh-31p for Yak-41, and Kh25ml with Kh29l for 9.19 and 9.15. All the issues get accepted.

The current variant is unlikely to be capable of employing the ARMs, as it lacks a ESM pod or the L-150 RWR

which would imply at L-150 being planned for Yak-141 irl. And i saw a recent bug reports about that
