Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-29/35 Fulcrum - History, Design, Performance & Dissection (Part 2)

Huh, so it is.

Still surprised it’s rubber lol

I think you missed the 9.12BM

Compared to prev Fulcrum, 9.41 family greatly improves their high AOA flight performance. Literally u can fly what u did on Flankers.

Now Ig the only annoying point on MiG-35 is that it gets such a bad rolling (well I have to admit that it’s inherited from prev Fulcrum and quite historical). So like when u are after Rafale or Euro Fighter, they may pull a big barrel and let u miss the target.

despite the fact that 9.15 and onwards got bigger aelerons

Those coward didn’t do it for export migs. We are never getting interestingly configured jets even as option

I only mentioned the upgraded one by Russia.

But I didn’t add some like Belarus and Ukraine ones.

Maybe in the future

also i think that the upgrades not done by MiG arent really keeping the 9.xx naming scheme consistently

wait, that thing is squishy?

Thats what I said lmao.

I didn’t expect it to be so rubbery.

it makes sense that it is made out of rubber tho

bc the cap also gets launched out when you deploy the drag chute iirc
cant find any good pic or vid tho

in this video you can see that the smaller initial chute flops around

(just ignore the DCS one)

Yeah that’s unfortunate, i’m having a lot of fun with the 9.13 however i wish i had the option of using the 73s in a lower BR (which would be possible if the 9.12 had its r27er removed). I hate the 27er since the addition of the fulcrum lol

now i only need ARMs for a full set and i can focus on the performance mods so i can finally see that Mach 1.5 number that people keep talking about (i believe it’s a myth)

Good luck sinking a carrier with that loadout.

you think 2 1500kg bombs won’t be enough?

Yes…

I did sink it with 1 1500kg on a Su-34 before tho
