yeah its pretty bad currently, theyre both jank and crazy. i dont need that maneuverability i just need the to be more stable its unrealistic and it makes them worse imo, before the patch i never missed an r-77 shot because it couldnt pull enough.

We are stuck with this for few months most likely. I don’t think gaijin will do any major revisions between the updates.
Yeah, It’ll probably get changed before the end of the year, since Gaijin said they’d rework basically every RU missile.
I’m VERY keen to see what the reworked R-27s and R-73s look like. I hope R-27R will decent at last.

less range than r73 in my experience
Seems like proxy fuse bug is back in some shape or form, at least for nuclear escalation. 2 F-15s ate my R-27ET with only a “hit” and one R-27ET completley flew past F-16A in rear aspect without even exploding. People aslo said that AIM-9M did a direct impact with the enemy for virtually no damage.

on a funnier note, forget about MCM, F-15 countered my R-77-1 in a head-on… by shooting it down with a vulcan!
