After playing with the F-15 GE, it seems that the issue is not exclusive to the R-77. The likely cause is the extended AOA on the missiles, since I’ve also seen some of my aim-120ds spin out of the sky when trying to re-lock. The higher the AOA the missile pulls the more noticeable this effect becomes.

Ngl, the radar’s 120° scan limit is much more noticeable than I expected, especially when trying to defend and attack at the same time. Most other fighters at the same BR or higher have a wider scan coverage, so they can keep contacts inside the radar’s field with less risk

Try the IR trick. MiG-35 gets a 90 degree IR HMS. Just lock with IR and then change to PD. There is a moment u can launch your r77-1
BTW do you have a chart or resources somewhere on how many Kh-31 does it take to kill a carrier, destroyer, etc?
there is no chart for that since it is always different

I noticed this as well.
Genuinely feels slower than Pre-buff Su-30SM at altitude.
Are there any reports on it?

Ngl, it’s not even performing better than MiG-29k(109 wep). There are reports about missing thrusts, but still lack one about engine efficiency at high altitude.

Somehow second gen Fulcrums are more draggy than first gen ones despite Mikoyan actively working on reducing said drag

Just look at the 16XL. It has less dragg at 60* AOA than at 0*.
