Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-29/35 Fulcrum - History, Design, Performance & Dissection (Part 2)

Seems to be mostly design improvements that would matter IRL like 120B using solid state electronics over 120A but in-game they are pretty much identical

Nuke thunder mogger, can’t wait to try this on live.

I love how people are confidently wrong about MiG-35 in dev server cathegory of forum

What they say? that it’s gonna be shite?

Honestly it already looks like an enjoyable addition to me.

Nah, mostly about weaponry, engines, radar and such. Not as wild as “Su-57 engines” but still funny. Check J-16 thread and you’ll see for yourself

Yeah, even at 14.3 it will be really good. AESA gimbal might not be meta but everything else makes it very competitive and probably straight up broken in 13.3 downtiers

I’m gonna pass.

After reading that a radar should made up for the J-16 just because the SM2 and Euros have over-the-shoulder capable ones, I think I’ll just stick to reading the comments from the knowledgeable people of that thread.

I think we need to add datalink to the game, right now over the should radar is overly strong, whilst in real life its a niche capability for a reason.

If I’m not mistaken datalink is already somewhat modelled, but not to the degree it should be at.

I’d be completely fine with further development of it.

I meant intra-flight datalink, allowing planes to share radar information.

MiG-31 will be completely busted with that

Can it guide sarh through it?

Yep, 4 at once even

Oh you mean like Link-16 and such? Yeah I’d like to see that mechanic too.

How though? Doesnt it require stt lock?

then the question is how would you make this work with the non 0 teamwork WT gameplay, would only really work when playing with friends/squadron

Funny Zaslon radar. Thing is stupidly cool for the year of introduction
4 Foxhounds can unite into a single network and guide each others missiles if I’m not mistaken

So can they guide r37 through softlocks?

That I do not know, but this should work similarly to how Su-35 can guide 2 R-27ERs at once, just with 4 missiles

If I’m not mistaken even pair of Su-27S can unite into a network to share radar information. But I’m not sure if they can share missile guidance data
