Yeah, r-40 to r-33 seem to be all 4g target maneuverability, with the r-37 series being the ones with 8g
so how many Gs does the first Mig 25s R40s pull ?
def should be a sqaudron as that would be a horrible tech tree if you where forced to grind it

Agree. Wont be very useful plane but for simulator as interceptor can work so squadron would be ideal.

Giving flares to this jet (BM) will be pushing it as is. Only the PDs had flares as confirmed by images.
SUPPOSEDLY a MiG-25RBF was equipped with flares, which means an aircraft that shared the wing structure of the BM was given flares. But, for details on that you will have to speak to @Blitzkrieg877. I also have to note that the MiG-25BM was based on the MiG-25RBK and not RBF.
I have only included flares in this suggestion, because of his article and that claim. I found nothing else.
MiG-25RB series jets used ECM for protection. The P series variants did not come with ECM.
P.S This person’s article also contains a claim about a MiG-25BM being equipped with R-60 missiles.
No, I don’t recall them installing CM pods on the MiG-25BM, but they did on the MiG-25RBF. I think in 1981 they figured that they wouldn’t be able to use just its speed to escape threats anymore while doing recon.

Much like any aircraft at the time with the option of R-60Ms for self defence, the MiG-25BM used dual APU-60-2 pylons, so it utilized four of those missiles if arranged

On a separate note, do you happen to know anything about the S-24 unguided missiles fitted to the RB-series bombers? I recall reading about it in your posts about a specific RB model.
iirc bvvd or one of the community managers stated that if the 25 ever came to the game, it would be as an event vehicle since it would be hard for them to balance. I think we’ll see the 31 in TT tho.

You mean if they fitted unguided rockets to the MiG-25RB? It was strictly designed for high speed bombing so it only utilized FABs and 100 kg FOTABs (bombs with flash lighting for night raids).

I’m honestly really confused at myself for writing that and I sincerely apologise. Maybe it was the fatigue back then, because I spent 10 hours in a row writing the post on the old forum and I remember it really kicked in when I moved on to the recon/strike variants.
There’s no way any derivative of the MiG-25RB could have carried unguided rockets because there were already plenty of other close air support aircraft in Soviet service at that time, and because it would have meddled with the main principle of its design. It was a high speed, high altitude reconnaissance aircraft with the option of striking recon targets after a scout mission if necessary. Fitting it with unguided rockets would have nullified that and put it much closer to danger.
No problem, it is worth a check, as it seems like a plausible ground attack option, given the relatively large size of the missile. Although, it does raise a lot of questions.
