do you guys think they will smite the su30sm2 once the su30sm drops? at this point its pretty clear the aircraft is not correct, maybe we’ll get the extra cm’s then lol

I think the radar at least might get nuked, and the improved range BARS to take its place.
Engines I think it’s a bit harder, since gaijin’s stance is “it tested them so it gets them”, they’d probably shoot down all bug reports.
watch them keep the fake sm2 and then add the so called future AESA su35
If they would both downgrade the radar and engines then it’s not even worth being 14.7 anymore
For wt purposes (Pesa and Aesa not differing much) I’d still rather have the IRBIS, compared to a fixed plate Aesa.

What I mean is that the engines are likely to stay, since for gaijin testing them on non-production testbeds was enough.
For the radar though gaijin said that it was given to it following what the SM2 upgrade should have been (Smin words), so they likely don’t have concrete sources that could back the IRBIS up.
Imo, with BARS and AL-41’s it’d still be 14.7 material.
