Prototype and bomber/SEAD can be added.
minimal BR mig25 is good to have(R-40T vs more flareless planes)

i am strongly against that. It will be extremely unbalanced
Lol, what’s the multiplier for this one, 20x lmfao?
R37M with 8g maneuvering targets is gonna pull R77 shenanigans at this rate.
they are capable of pulling 30Gs from time to time it seems. Probably an usual oversight by Gaijoobs. Anone made a bug report about that yet?
Problem is that target g load does not directly correspond to missile g load.
For example both r-77 and r-73 have the same target g load of 12 gs, but r-73 is 60 gs and r-77 is 50gs.
Target overload doesn’t refer to how much a missile can pull or how many g forces a targeted plane needs to exceed to outmaneuver said missile, it’s simply a recommendation for the pilot on the optimal launch conditions of the missile at his disposal to maximize kill chance, meaning in this case it’s just best not to launch an R-40 at a target maneuvering past 4g. But mind you, the flight operations manual takes into account that the MiG-25 was operated only at high altitude where rarely any plane could exceed 4g in sustained maneuvers.
The aerodynamic design, velocity and control surfaces are much clearer indicators on a missile’s maneuvering capabilities.
I remember you sent a clip of an R-37M test launch from a Su-35, the thing looked to pull quite a bit tbh, much more than I expected. (can’t find the clip sadly)
It also looked to have quite a low pull delay when launched.
Yeah it’s sub 1 second delay, looks to be around 0.5 seconds from booster ignition to maneuvering which isn’t all that bad
For an half a ton missile it’s quite impressive imo
Pulling straight up haha, yep that’s quite a bit more than I expected.
All ultra long range missiles are engineered to have a small delay so they can aggressively loft without hitting their launch carriers and so retain as much energy as possible to hit their targets after they run out of boost. They purposefully design them so they don’t have maximum agility on launch. They aren’t for dogfight scenarios, but they can pull quite hard in optimal conditions.
R-37M ain’t got nothing on Kh-29L.
wdym
R-37M WISHES it could pull this hard.
broo … -_- thats 30g man wtf
i will 100% report that so we can have a kh29 loft
tbh you try this at maximum r40 missile velocity of Mach 2.95 if im not mistaken so yeah even tho it shouldn’t be able to keep up with plane pulling 11g i think it barely mange to do it but thx to it big warhead of 40kg caught you lacking and it has big ass fins so maybe they pull better at high speeds ? but that’s for me looking like r40 was doing at least 25g right there to hit ef2000
