25PD has countermeasures tho, you can see it on several photos.
Only prototypes or exports, the Soviets never fitted KDS-155s to service models.

Germans never had 9Js, F-5C ceased to exist even before 9E entered service, CM pods on F-5A, US F-5E having ordnance loadouts that it never had in US service and so on and so forth. This game doesn’t follow the rules that you are implying, it doesn’t even follows its own rules from time to time
Yeah Idrc, it’s still wrong even if the devs want to say otherwise.
But dubious avionics seem to be a common place with the Soviet/Russian air trees so whatever.
Then there’s like half a game that’s wrong. You can start trying to fix it right about now, by submitting bug reports instead of throwing random complaints on forum. Ofc if your goal is to make game more realistic. If your goal is to just complain - no arguments from me.
As I see it, there’s zero point of bug reporting things that’d obviously be denied due to the usability of the evidence or the fact that bug reports have already been made and denied.
Like what’s the point of reporting Ka-52’s fake RWR? Gaijin already denied the fact that it’s incorrect despite their model being flat out incorrect…
So you want to just complain, got it. As i said - zero problems with that, as long as you’re honest about it
need to remove PD’s unrealistic RWR and CMs to minimize BR
Whyyy? Why would you want MiG-25PD at even lower BR? It already might be a bit too good with half of the bracket not being able to even detect you and the other half having piss poor RWRs. Rather give it full kit that I can technically get (SPO-15 and maybe second block of CMs) and increase its br to something like 11.3 or 11.7
export ka52s have L-150 and thats enough for WT.
R-40 maneuverability is massively overperforming
it somehow has much more maneuverability than R-24 despite it having only 4G target overload compared to the R-24’s 7G target overload.
there’s no way in hell the R-40 should be able to pull anywhere close to the R-24 let alone more than it.
R-40RD/TD 4G target overload

R-24R/T 7G target overload

R-40D (R-40RD/TD) also somehow has 20G overload in statcard despite the base R-40 (R-40R/T) having 15G and sharing the same exact airframe except for the antenna on the tail.
R-40 15G overload

Bro, you are using Mig25P sources for PD and numbers are for early R40*, not R40*D… In later R40 they imrpoved its max G and added new seekers, i would argue that R40TD has worse seeker than R24T which is “strange” as R40RD used seeker from R24R, and it would not be a stretch for R40TD not to use its seeker (in game it would be to make R40TD have ircm)
Do you just want to see Mig25 with R3R level of missiles ?
what is this strawman? if i want to see a realistic mig25 that doesn’t have utter nonsense R-40D maneuverability somehow pulling more than R-24/AIM-7E-2 despite having significantly lower max target G doesn’t mean i want to see a mig25 with AIM-4 level missiles.
i know damn well what missiles im talking about and even according to only R-40D source it still shouldn’t pull more than R-24 (4G vs 7G) yet it does so massively in game.
Jesus, safe to expect R-37M’s to pull like an IRIS-T then?
Well… R-40RD do pull more than R-40D
lower max target G doesn’t necessarily mean lower missile G load.
R-40RD (and R-40TD) IS the R-40D
Drag is too low too. It has a delta V of roughly 620m/s at deck when it should be close to 540m/s. At high altitude its like 780m/s when it should be 740m/s when drag is minimal
And you should only be able to guide the R40RD in a ± 20° cone off your nose as the CW emitter is a fixed horn antenna. So not launch and put target ay gimbal at 60° off the nose
Yeah, that was incredibly close one. I think it’s better to continue here, and not in a Flanker thread. I noticed that a lot of players just don’t look at their RWRs. It’s not that hard to pre-chaff if you see a lock on you, but a lot of people just completely ignore the warnings
