Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-25 & MiG-31 Foxbat / Foxhound - History, Design, Performance & Dissection

50 secs, lol
Should be gross weight. However you are using 2x R40s and 4xR60s which are draggier. Its with 4x R40s

operations manual

The aerodynamics manuals of the RB even go for the same thing. They all agree on the same things capabilities of the aircraft, with a small difference. The speed limits are dictated by a maximum dynamic pressure applied on the airframe, thus the constant IAS. At high altitudes there’s a limit of how much you can spend at Mach 2.7 for example.

The first limit is physics thing, the second is a doctrinal/life saving measure. Two very different things

There’s no point in taking Gordon’s stories when there’s objective stuff around. The stories are all repeated stories he heard and there’s no backup for them. I still remember the parroting of his claim that the N019 was as good/advamced as the Apg63s in the old forum.

That was already addressed by posting the video here and Foe showing us a quote from Belyakov himself, which you may have overlooked.

someone dosent know about the incident where a mig25 flew so fast that the rubber seals around the cockpit melted

later the engineers calculated that it had to be flying atleast mach 3.1 for that to happen

Mig-25 could definitely do that irl I’m just reporting it to use its service limits which is what planes are modeled to in game not their hard achieved limits irl

Is there anything other than sustained turn rate now to report now for the mig-25 flight model?

It achieved Mach 3.6, for that to happen.

Yeah reminds me of the rocket ship that was the release mig-21bis lmao

Unfortunate things of being stock in dev server (you can’t run 4x r40s)

Missiles are overperforming by around 5gs soooo…. Yeah…. Though I’m gonna double check before I send those reports in

if yall want a plane that’s actually fast… look no further than the mig-31. It actually goes 1500 km/h on the deck

what’s that gonna be with Gaijobless multiplier?

1575 km/h (same ias limit as mig-29)

That’s not the model of mig-25 we have in game.
We have mig-25 PD variant

Damn, well, I don’t see the MiG-31 playstyle being like that whatsoever but at least if you need to dive to defend/evade you can haha.

No need to pull the airbrake and dive subsonic.

the mig-25 in the Dev-server is definitely underperforming. Can you magine Devs implementing this real life statistics in the game? Everyone will cry Russian Bias and go Review bomb Warthunder again.

dude. you can see the acceleration charts for yourself and the g limit charts. its definitely GROSSLY overperforming.
