also the N019 would have had to guide in the missiles by pulsing CW onto the targets while in TWS to update the IOG of the r-27
so it dosent fully guide them in but relies on the missiles IOG

well, current “combat record” is 213km for R-37M. Tho it isn’t specified if this was the range to the target at the moment of launch or at the moment of hitting it.
I was talking about this before. Since R-27 only activates seeker at the later stage of its flight similar to ARH missiles it should be able to be launched in TWS mode
thats not what iam talking about
iam talking about how guiding multiple r-27r/er at once would theoretically work with the N019 or N001
and the source i posted even says that it can be lauched in tws
Surely the updates in tws would take far too long, as the missile would only receive an update every ~4ish seconds, though that’s okay for non maneuvering targets
170ish km
i mean thats only my theory
its also possible that through GCSI the radar would have been told where to point the CW beam and then just switch betweeen the targets
you are talking about 28th of July 2024?
I forgot from when the hud footage was from, but it was from 2024. Though, I can’t find anything other than random news articles for the 213 r37m kill
Yeah that one, but I forgot the date from when the actual hud footage was taken
well, source post also says about 213km that were claimed
But that’s nonsense as you can see 170km on the hud lol
¯_(ツ)_/¯ what can i say, claim is 213 km.
Claim is 213 km because they don’t know what a TTT indicator is lol and don’t know 213 is in seconds not km. 213km is nonsense, it was 170km
that is IF this HUD footage from the same incident. Media sources are not the most attentive when it comes to details. Either claim could be true or false
Max detection range of 210km
1500
How much does the Zaslon M weight? Thing looks massive.
