oh yeah, i love Yak-130, such a cutie patootie, will defo get it if it’s not a premium
I’ll cry if it’s a premium
Genuinely the only thing I can grind this update so far
still no mig-31 buuut another f-14 :(

R37s might be cooked.
what
He’s prolly comparing them to the phoenix and saying that they’re also gonna be hot garbage.
Because the phoenix even with the buffs barely pull at low altitude
who could have guessed that a high altitude missile wont do great near sea level
With this in mind I would expect an R-40 rework as well. This thing was literally one of the best performing high altitude missiles of the time, but in game it doesn’t care about altitude whatsoever
Has any of the devs actually know that the MIG-25 can go way faster than 1330km/h IAS? This translates to around M1.085. Cmon. The real plane has zero structural problems at that SL Mach or that equivalent IAS at 1G vertical G load. NOTHING, NONE! The same story with the MIG-23s that break apart at far low IAS. The MIG-23MS (which is structurally worse than the MIG-23ML or MLD) reached 910KIAS at SL altitudes, meaning some M1.38 or close to 1700km/h IAS…, yes IAS.
Can the devs take their time and correct these 2 aircraft maximum dynamic pressure limit or directly said, maximum IAS speed limit above which structural integrity may be affected?
We want it real? Let’s make it real guys!
I love firing telephone poles at my enemy that is +20km away.

fr, you should make a bug report, or post it here if there is one
I’m pretty new to WT, so as an aerospace engineer with a Master degree in flight dynamics and ex-aerodynamicist (this is what I loved the most in my career), I have studied aerodynamics for almost 2 decades with scientific results and studies. I have a good friend who is on par with me on this matter and he shared with me as friends a lot of MIG-21, MIG-23 and also MIG-25 performances data from Russian written manuals, one of which I see above here in this thread (if it’s a thread, I just found this by searching MIG-25 specifically in search). I can ask him if he has these sea level operational limit speed (which is not the structural failure limit which of course is always some higher) values somewhere so we can all see it and maybe the devs will just do a quick tweak in the numbers and have the planes in the sim respect those also. I just hope.
Now, because I’m also new to this forum type which is pretty different from like DCS (which I mostly play), can you give me a hint on which section to go for talking about these rather low top speed IAS structural break limit? Thank you very much!
the Mig-25 in war thunder is largely modeled after the operational speed limits described in this manual
with the only difference in its max speed being at 20km alt where it can go mach 3+ as the Mig-25 was recorded of being able to do so and being famous for going Mach 3
there is always the offical bug reporting site Community Bug Reporting System.
you could also try and contact gaijin staff here on the forum :)
There’s still no actual proof it’s gotten countermeasures but yes some 31BMs and Is have gotten L-150 over the past few years.
(Ik it’s an old post hush)
yeah also a pic of a BM with a new L-150 display in place of the old SPO-15 panel
Yeah that one’s been floating around for a while now, maybe in a few years we’ll get a full shot of the pilot and WSO seats.
