R-37M have only later variants. First serial had only R-33 and I think MiG-31B had R-33S.
Well, still no flares and only SPO-15. I can’t see MiG-31B any lower than 12.0 (but i doubt that anything other than 31BM has a chance to appear in the game because gaijin will be too lazy to model ability to guide 4 SARH missiles at once and with BM they can just exclude R-33 from the payload options and call it a day)

SPO-15 is good RWR tbh and I am sure it will get flares (48 CM) due to balance.

in arcade the Su-17M4 is 11.3
i couldn’t find a flare dispencer on any of the 31s in service. MiG-31M had CM dispencers under the engines, but, as you know, it never got into service.

I managed to get all of its performance mods today, and last match I couldn’t believe seeing it literally accelerating beyond mach 2 at 10 km in a sustained turn. Its speed is ridiculous and I’m all in for it.
It faces the Hawker Hunter (Mk.58 @ 10.0)… something needs to be done about their respective BR’s.

Yeah, but you can’t just take a part from one aircraft and slap it onto another. Would love MiG-31M in the game tho, although i am not sure that there are any source about its capabilities.
On the topic of CMs on MiG-31BM, @noister shared photos of a MiG-31BM that has something that looks like CM pods in the same area as on MiG-31M
looks like 3 blocks which will make it 42 large CMs.
In WT it would probably be best to take almost all chaff I guess, given the area where this jet shines, kinematically defeating missiles should not be too hard, unless they add stuff with sustainers like Meteors.
Also, does the MiG-31 have some sort of internally/externally built ECM system? Like a Khibiny pods.
31M had EW pods on prototypes.
MiG-31B/BM - i’m not sure, but some of the schematics on the internet label the antennas on the intakes as part of EW suite, as well as some sources mention that there is EW equipment onboard.
MiG-25 uses Siren, so probably that or more modern version - Geran
