So the ingame model of the MiG-29M is just a reworked MiG-29A which, you already went through the trouble of changing it for the intakes and wings, but you overlook the countermeasure system, MiG-29M didn’t have the same vertical stabilizer extention with countermeasure dispensers and you can see it in multiple pictures:
You can see it especially here, this is the picture of the demonstrator MiG-29M no. 156, which gaijin also used for one of the camos and you can clearly see the lack of the countermeasure system, you can see how the vertical stabilizer is very similar to the MiG-29K (Which gaijin did model properly)
Furthermore you can see on other pictures of the MiG-29M where the new countermeasure system is housed, this holds smaller caliber countermeasures, this is made for compatibility with export systems and it can hold twice what the current MiG-29M load is, which would make the 29M more competitive at 13.7 and more pleasant to play since it faces mostly ARH missiles (Also make it look better imo cause the cm extensions just don’t look right on it but that’s just me)
Lastly the MiG-29M could use the same counteremeasure pod system that the SMT has so that would be a nice addition as well giving it some more options to take flares/chaff for fights
This is not countermeasures dispenser. Export MiG-29M and M2 have pods in same place as 29KR and hold 64 charges (2x32). In fact, MiG-29KR currently uses said export pods, because domestically it uses smaller single row pods with 32 charges total (2x16).
What you outlined on photos is most likely a satellite connection antenna or part of the onboard ECM suite.
Soviet model 29M aka 9.15 supposed to have dispencers mounted in the spine with 120 rounds total like @Dzhkグ said above, but they never got installed because every single airframe produced was a prototype one. But you can see upon closer inspection of a spine 2 rectangular panels on each side that cover mounting points for countermeasures that were planned
So the SMT ingame just has fake countermeasures? Or is it technically a 9.19R? Actually its probably just a cruel mashup like gayjin does with the F-4E
This wont be fixed for a long time, when a historical accuracy matter is submitted as a suggestion that just means it essentially wont happen or will take years
no it was factory standard on the 9-19R with the UV-50 but one 9-19 (which we have in game) was retrofitted with the UV-50 at the state flight test center
